After we discuss all details, if you decide to go ahead, a deposit will be required to book your tattoo appointment. Deposit amount vary from 80£ to 250£ depending on appointment time slot. If we agree on appointment day you’ll have 24 hours to secure the slot with deposit payment. Otherwise the slot will become available for other clients unfortunately. Deposit amount comes off the final price (if your tattoo is £200 and you paid an £100 deposit you will pay f100 at the studio).
Deposit won't be refunded if you cancel your appointment at any time/for any reason. I'm happy to reschedule your appointment with notice up to 1 week before the appointment (without loosing the deposit). Less than 1 week notice/ 2d time rescheduling will require new deposit to secure another day. New appointment can be rebooked within 6 months from original date (without loosing deposit).

Yes, it is! I’m happy to suggest online consultations for all projects. I’ll let you know if personal consultation is needed. Usually it’s suggested for intricate/large scale projects and difficult cover ups.
-
Each situation is different! Generally I’m experienced with cover ups and accept these projects.
Please provide a good quality photo of the tattoo to be covered. Let me know if you have ideas in mind regarding cover up size and theme. Please be ready to listen to the best suggestions in terms to allow me to provide the best service possible. Covering an existing tattoo isn’t always possible if you can’t be flexible on size and style.

All drawings are done ready for the day, and they will not be sent over beforehand for copyright purposes. Your appointment will have enough time if any changes need to be made. I’m always happy to adjust design on your request.
If you have a specific vision in mind for future tattoo please send me a rough sketch! Visuals usually helping me the best for understanding your idea.
At the same time if you have to see the design beforehand I charge extra 50£-100£ per project. In that case I’ll send you design up to week before appointment. After your feedback (if needed) I can send one more option. The rest adjustments (if needed) will be discussed on the day of appointment.

Tattoo is a permanent procedure that can’t be rushed. The time it takes a tattoo to be completed depends significantly on a range of factors such as tattoo size, design, skin type, placement, tattoo complexity, and many other factors. An estimated time will be discussed after you fill out the enquiry form. Generally I don’t recommend to book anything after session. Resting after your appointment leads to best healing results.

I usually reply within 3 working days. Please, be patient. I always try to get back to you ASAP. If you haven’t heard from me more than 5 working days please reach out again through email (info@heartpoke.uk) or instagram as your enquiry might got lost.

I prefer clients to come alone to the appointment. If you feel anxious you can bring +1. Please be ready for them to sit in waiting area when advised.

Please bring your ID to the appointment.
It is very important to prepare your body properly for the tattoo experience in order to make it as painless as possible.
Eat a healthy full meal beforehand to better manage the pain and face longer tattoo sessions.
Drink lots of water! Stay always hydrated before and during the tattoo session. The consumption of water will boost your skin’s elasticity and, therefore, it will allow me to work better on your skin. Also, it will smoothen the experience and help you heal faster.
Rest and have a good night’s sleep the day before your tattoo session. Also, I suggest booking yourself a day off afterwards to allow your body to recover more quickly.
Bring water and snacks(something high in protein and sugar) to eat while on breaks in order to maintain your fluids and blood sugar levels up during the tattoo session.
-
During the tattoo session please wear comfortable clothing that offers easy access to the area to be tattooed. Also, I recommend clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting a little stained with ink. If in doubt ask before the appointment and I'll happily help

Do not show up to your tattoo appointment sunburnt or similar in the area I need to tattoo. Look after your skin.
Do not take any alcohol, energy drinks, or aspirin 24-48 hours prior to your tattoo session as they are blood thinners and will make the process harder.
Do not shave before the appointment, I will do it on the spot.
Do not apply any numbing cream on the tattoo area as this could affect the process of tattooing and I have the rights to refuse tattooing, unless advised otherwise.

Full aftercare instructions will be given when the tattoo is finished but you can read it before appointment as well here
